Ms. Desai is associated with The Gujarat Cancer Society & GCRI since August 2009 and is a vital part of the GCS Medical College, Hospital & Research Centre since inception and is presently its HOD, Finance. Ms. Desai is a core team member of the Management and Purchase Committee.
Ms. Desai has over 19 years of diverse experience in various facets of Finance, Accounts, and Management. Ever since her association, she has been a vital part of initiating, establishing, and developing numerous aspects of different processes in the organization.
At present, she oversees the entire financial function of the organization. She is focused on transparent and critical leadership by adopting new technologies for developing systems and processes in Finance and Operations, thereby, building a stage for a successful turnaround of the organization. Ms. Desai also plays a critical role in many other curricular/non-curricular initiatives.
Her strength lies in straightforwardness, honesty, and accepting new challenges to create high-performance teams, deliver quality solutions and nurture strong organizational values.
Ms. Desai holds a bachelor’s degree in Commerce from H. L. College of Commerce, Gujarat University, and is a fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI). Ms. Desai also holds a Diploma in System Audit (DISA) from ICAI.
