Dr. Heena Chhanwal started her journey from the district of Surendranagar, Gujarat and completed MBBS from NHLMMC (1999) then MD Anaesthesiology from GCRI, BJMC, Ahmedabad (2002). She has special interest towards CPR (CPR instructor), critical care, pain management and depth of Anaesthesia monitoring. She has been editorial board member of various journals and published more than 30 national and international articles; she has also published a book named “Essentials of COVD-19 for Anaesthesiologists” and contributed 2 chapters.
She is presently working as the Medical Superintendent of Gujarat Cancer Society Medical College, Hospital and Research Centre, Ahmedabad, Gujarat. She was also the secretary of Indian Society of Anaesthesiologists (ISA), Ahmedabad city branch and scientific secretary of ISACON 2021 national anaesthesia conference. Presently, she is the treasurer of ISA Gujarat State branch. She has conducted many CME and workshops as the organizing chairman and organizing secretary. She has delivered many lectures at state, national and international anaesthesia conferences.
